The first edition took place in 2001 and the event continues to attract more and more people every two years. In order to highlight the cultural and nautical wealth of the Gulf of Morbihan, the Morbihan Department had the original idea of creating this event focused on the world of sailing.

Don't miss the opening parade which will take place on Monday 10th May when all the boats present will join the Tall Ships flotilla off Méaban. In order to keep young and old busy, many activities are organised during this week: tasting of local and seafood products, fest-noz (night party), model making, music and local shows... Numerous French and foreign sailing boats meet to sail in this very particular environment of the "Petite Mer" (Mor Bihan in Breton); Every day more than a thousand traditional and classic boats divided into coherent and identifiable flotillas sail. Every day, each flotilla follows its own sailing programme and each evening they release in a different port. Vannes is one of the 17 member ports.
