The chocolate and pastry fair is back for its 11th edition. It will take place from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th November 2021 at the Vannes exhibition centre. An event in Vannes not to be missed! This year, the theme is "The magic of Christmas".
For chocolate lovers, you won't be disappointed; On the counter: 90 exhibitors from all over France to offer their chocolate creations, pastries, ice creams, sweets and many other delicacies. Enough to make us fall in love...
A moment rich in emotions with the presence of a guest of honour: Mercotte, the host of the show "Le Meilleur Pâtissier" on M6, but not only! Indeed, the president of the show, Jean-Christophe Jeanson, has also invited Guy Krenzer, Johan Martin, the world-famous pastry chef, Christelle Brua, the first pastry chef of the Élysée Palace, and crowned world champion in her category in 2018, as well as the best workers of France, world champions and master craftsmen. So many celebrities gathered in Morbihan!
Dive into the heart of the animations
Numerous activities will be held in Vannes to enliven this chocolate and pastry show.
For the fans of Mercotte, signing sessions will be organised. This will allow them to meet this guest of honour and to keep a good souvenir.
Chocolate sculpture demonstrations will be held with the artist Gildas Darcillon.
In addition, the election of the most beautiful chocolate piece will take place with the participation of the general public.
To honour their "Christmas Magic" theme, an arrival of Father Christmas will take place on Thursday 11 November.
Enjoy spectacular activities
During the three days of the fair, there will be parades of chocolate dresses with a Christmas theme. These parades will take place three times a day and will last 30 minutes.
This is an opportunity to take part in an extraordinary fashion show and to admire the works of famous chocolate makers.
Take part in the most famous competitions
The chocolate and pastry fair is also an opportunity to take part in international and national competitions. For example, the international final of the best Alain Chartier amateur macaroon will take place, known in Brittany and specifically in the Morbihan region through its 7 shops: in Vannes, Theix, Lorient, Carnac and Arzon. The competition for the best chocolate log, the Bruno Le Derf Elite Trophy, and many others. A great competition between professionals will then come into effect.
Concerning the prices, it will be 6€ on the spot and 5€ on the online ticketing. Free for children under 12 years old.
